Vision statement of Asian Society of Transplantation “AST will endeavor to provide growth of Transplantation in the continent of Asia through scientific knowledge, clinical practice & continuing education with emphasis on ethical practice of transplantation”. th 16 CAST will do its best to achieve all this in spirit & action. Asia is now growing rapidly in Organ & Tissue Transplantation & many countries are struggling to improve deceased donation programme. Improving the organ donation will be our main theme. Our aim is to enhance the knowledge, skill and research in Asia by updating all aspects of transplantation from basics to clinical & ethical aspects. We will bring experts & scholars from all over the world to design a rich scientific programme that will meet these goals in a very hospitable and rich tradition of India.
